With all the end-of-the-GM-world talk, it would be nice for some good news now and then. Well we’ve got some! The 2010 Camaro outsold the 2010 Mustang in June by 1,688 cars.
2010 Camaro – 9,320 sold in June
2010 Mustang – 7,632 sold in June
2010 Challenger – 1,369 sold in June
No matter the reasoning, this is good news for us Camaro enthusiasts. While GM may be losing quite a bit of brands and dealerships people are still finding the 2010 Camaro, and supply can’t even keep up with demand at the current rate! We do think that the numbers would be a bit closer of Ford had released a more revolutionary Mustang for 2010. While it is a redesign over their 2005-2009 design, it still has its base set within the 2005 design. However, we could also look at it as how much GM could’ve sold if the production could keep up with the list of people looking to buy Camaros, the difference could’ve been even more than it is now. We don’t really need to comment much on the Challenger, since no one wants that overweight slouch anyways, and if you look at its sales record the past 3 years, its quite laughable.
The bottom line is, its good news for Camaro fans and keeps the Camaro safe from getting the Axe by Obama and his new regime that run GM.

These are the types of guys all of us grease monkeys really enjoy reading about. “Jackass” is built by Mark Stielow, a GM engineer. This car has the soul of a 1969 Camaro, with the brains and brawn of a 2009 Corvette ZR1. Stielow took a 1969 Camaro, added a LS9 (6.0L Supercharged), 6 piston carbon-ceramic brakes from the ZR1 wrapped in the ZR1’s wheels. The Transmission is a Tremec T56 6-Speed from a Dodge Viper. read more »
