Selling a 1988 Chevy Camaro RS for $850
V6 Manual - engine has been loyal thus far in my short time owning it, no odd noises, ticks, ect. Transmission also has given no issues.
Good car.
Needs plugs to solve an obvious misfire issue. Putting in plugs later this weekend.
Looks like someone JBwelded a vacuum tube so its throwing a code that im almost positive is related to it.
Right rear brake needs a serious adjustment, when it bites, it bites so hard it almost swings the car.
Body is straight, needs paint and new ground effects.
THE PROBLEM - The cars title has an issue. Its a clean Texas title, but it hasnt been registered in anyones name since 1998. Its been signed on the back by three dealers, and the last dealer in Dallas did not put the title into the buyer's name, which is illegal. The guy who owns the dealership said he provide me with a letterhead stating he did sell the car so that i could take that, my bill of sale ( or yours if you buy ) to the Tax Asessor's Office and get a title hearing to get the title re-issued. I dont have time for this. I need a car thats legal for the road ( tagged/inspected ) that i can drive NOW. Had i known that, i would have never picked up the car last week.
