Has anyone else read anything about GM phasing out their current Automatic trans. and going to a 6 Speed

Supposedly, the Camaro may have a 6 Speed auto. I can't find much info on it right now, but just a bit of a rumor I saw.

Sounds very likely. Everyone is going to 5+ speed autos. reguardless of how inherently weak they'd be because of size constraints. Probably end up having the T-56 as the only Transmission available for the top models becuase of breakage during testing.
