Some may know me from the other boards, I am Gary M. from Rochester NY.

My primary focus is roadracing my 2001 Camaro SS. The car has been modified to get around the track pretty well

I am a member of many groups involved in RR in the Northeast, but primarly the Genesee Valley Chapter of the BMW Club. We host 3-5 events @ tracks in the Northeast each year and always welcome new people to share the addiction. .

Hey, I've been interested in trying out some roadracing, but prices are just too much and far away as of late.

I've looked at beaverun and a few other places. Where is it that you go?

Definitely keep me updated as to when you're going somewhere, I'll just be using my V6, but it will be a nice experience.

Where do you run? I have been searching to do this for a while now. They do it in my area at Giants Stadium, but the prices are rediculous. Whats with all the BMW clubs running those shows btw?

That ain't no joke. Besides BMWs have to be good for something, lord knows after they dissallowed the M3 GT-R they had nothing aside from superior handling. Lord knows those inline 6s they had were bleeding edge on streetability for a stock vehicle. 1 quart of oil for every thousand miles is normal oil usage? WTF? My car doesn't even do that and It's got nearly 80K on it and I run spray! And I also switched over to true Synthetic after it had been driven for about 18K on whatever the crap they put in it from the factory.
