Default Finally bought a car

I bought a 1989 Firebird Formula WS6 yesterday. Unfortunately I can't drive it home until I get tags and proof of insurance, since the previous owner had just bought it to use as a race car so he didn't register or get plates I can't use his and mail them back (though he offered plates to a '91 Chrysler Somethingorother). The previous owner is keeping it in his garage until I get that stuff, and until I'm free to get up there again. I should have it next Saturday. I'll have pics then.

I've seen WS6 on 70's T/As.

My stepdad's getting temp tags tomorrow, then I wait for proof of insurance.

Very cool! Pics required as soon as you can. I like Formulas.

WS6 is a performance suspension package on Firebirds and has been around since the 70s. It generally consisted of larger front/rear sway bars, stiffer springs, and four-wheel disc brakes. In its latest inception on the 93-02 Trans AM it also consisted of a ram air package and larger wheels/tires. I had a 1983 Trans AM that had the WS6 suspension package on it and both my 1988 GTA and my wife's 1990 Formula also have the WS6 suspension package.
