Default My 96 Trans Am project

well finally had time do post some pics of my tarns am project i got goin on. well to start of its a wrecked 96 trans am 6 speed. obvisouly it was hit up front workin on taken it to school and get the frame fixed, bout the only thing thats holding me up at this point. plans for it is change the color to sunset orange metalic drop it maybe two inches get a ram air system for it, slp loudmouth II exhaust then from there start beefing up the suspension and then performance parts for the engine. plan on keeping this car for a looong time and puttin as much into as possible and what my right foot demands lol let me no what you all think. thanks

I think it will look badass when its done!! That Sunset Orange Metallic is a beautiful color.

since the front end needs to be replaced, you should do a 98+ front end conversion they look meaner IMO

thanks yea i considered doin the 98+ conversion but i have a guy thats lookin for parts for my for cheap and he already has a hood for me for 15 bucks. plus i've havent seen any 93-97 styl body with the SOM and i like that

It'd look awesome in SOM, but you could also just keep the purple and slap a white racing stripe on it. You don't see to many purple F-bodies around.

I would keep the purple. The rest of the car looks pretty clean. Just a blended front end paint job would save a few bucks for you, and purple is a pretty rare color.

i would personally go with the SOM... the name of the color just sounds sweet.

yea i thought about keeping it purple but theres a couple of areas that i want to fix like the driver rear quarter has a pretty nice size dent the rear bumper was scratched bad and the passenger rear quarter has some scratches and small dents so basically the only thing that wouldnt be painted is the doors and i really want the SOM and if im gonna do all that work i should paint it the color i really want. might cost be a couple hundred more but i think it will be worth it.
