Well I got my truck done at Maaco about a year and a half ago and it was $350 but I got the supreme package. I'm getting The Bird a fresh coat this winter, same color though.

If you do everything to get it ready for the first coat of SOM. Expect to pay around 1K. If not more for a base clear style paint job. And don't go to some walmartesque chain paint shop. Go to the guy who does this for a living and owns his own shop. He'll do his best for the money given because he wants you to say. "Hey my paint is kickass, this guy did it. You should get yours done by him." To everyone who asks about the paint. That keeps him in buissness, not commercials at 10pm.

Im paying right at 2k for stock color or 3k for black cause of hinges door jams trunk lid ect...If u get a paint job for 600 bucks and it looks good thats a steal of a deal.He must be using cheap materials.U get what u pay 4

Exactly, cheap paint fades fast, regardless of how well you take care of it.

Well expect to pay around $500 for your color alone, and another hundred for your clear.

How hard is it to do your own paint job? Cuz I'm considering it for my Bird.
