Well there really isnt anything stock left on it....LOL The stupid aluminum block cracked all the way up the 4th cylinder wall, so we went with a 6.0L iron block. When we did that, we figured, "hey might as well put this thing back together right!" LOL

Its a th400. It did have a 3500 vig stall, but I am going to get an actual race converter since the car never sees the street. I am thinking about 5500 or so.
The best times so far were on a pass where it blew up LOL: 1:47 60' (thats normal 60') 6:85 @ 99 10:83 @ 122

The car is all motor...When it ran those times it was just a basic iron 6.0L block bored .030 with a stock crank and some good rods and good mahle pistons. It had a cam that is smaller than the Magik stick 4, so it isnt a big cam, and a fast 90/90. It had some ls6 heads that were ported. It has a 9" rear with 4:10 gears.

Weight taken out??
Very impressive times for a 370. Wheel and tire?? I have the LQ9 block in mine as well, but with the stroker crank. 402. Sounds a lot like my build. But I am T56. |

I really would like to have a maual, but it seems people break a lot less stuff with a th400 LOL Plus, the car was an auto when I bought it. I guess I will just have to stick with the manual in my daily LOL. It does have the reverse manual valve body with a cheetah shifter that I just love though.
The car still weighs a little over 3200 according to the scales we took it to. The bumpers are taken out, the backseat, spare and jack, the air conditioner stuff, things like that. I refuse to take out any more of the interior other than the back seats. I dont want a gutted car. Right now we have 26 in tall slicks on it, which is why it has a problem getting through the 1/4. At the 1000 ft mark it is done. We need to get some 28's but I just havent yet. It also has skinnies of course.
