Well, had a great weekend. Decided to clean up the car and go play around the other day. Blew up my 2k mile stage 4 4l60e tranny. Won't upshift from 2-3. Pulled the pan and found shavings. Guess the tranny couldn't hold up to the new top end mods from over the winter. So unless I can find a good T56 conversion for a fair amount, she will be parked. They say things come in threes, let's see, wife has cancer, had a 500 lbs safe take out my legs a couple weeks ago and now this...... F'n beautiful!!!

If it makes you feel any better, I think my output shaft bearing is going bad, so im going to be getting a tranny too

i went with the 4l80e. Frank at CPT says he can build a badazz 4l60. i mean yeah hes had success with a few of them but i think that tranny it self is just a peice of shit..... and well aparantly u learned your lesson to.

sorry to hear about the car. im sure there are a few decent trannies rolling around on the boards.
