A Shit Kit?
-MAF : I've seen people just descreen the stock ones and say they work well (argued that it can hurt it more) , or you can port the ends.
-Exhaust Cutouts might not be a bad idea, good for some solid HP gains
-and suspension is often forgotten, doesn't have anything to do with horsepower, but can help you hook that HP up much better.

Oh my bad on the whole shit kit thing. Yeh the car has sub frame connectors strut tower brace, torque arm, but thats all.
One more question is there anywhere to get a true dual kit for the 97's, aside from going to an exhaust shop.

What's your current throttle body and intake manifold setup. Do you have fuel rails? How bout a racetronix fuel pump system and harness? What have you done to your ignition? I am a dealer for a lot of Headers and Pipes, what are you looking for?

I was some long tubes headers the Hookers are what i have been leaning toward. I would like a true dual set up with an x pipe, not sure what i want for mufflers. all the mods u have listed its all stock on my car i have been looking at the lt-4 intakes, also how about a little more info on fuel rails install time and such.

First things first. K&N FIPK, 1993-1997 LT1 F-body 201.99
I'm having a 5% off sale, but you have to use PayPal to take part and call me directly for the discount. a typical shade tree mechanic should only take 30 minutes for install. I'm confused because when I looked at your profile I thought you already had it. Are you talking about an intake manifold or a simple cold air intake?

DO NOT get a different intake on your car. I can't stress that enough. Your stocker is fine up to about 450hp. TB bypass, descreening the maf, disabling the knock sensor if you run headers, prell shampoo top in the intake elbow, NGK TR55 plugs. You can run true duals if you dump before the axle. Anything dual out the back will be custom. ALL the aftermarket cat-backs will support a good amount of hp, maybe you should give them another look. Gears and a tune will also be a huge improvement.

I agree. Don't bother with intake till you get new heads.
