I ran Richmond 3.73's in my old 10-bolt. They have a higher Nickel content in the metal as opposed to GM gears. The Nickel softens them a touch which makes them much less brittle, but it amplifies the howling/whining sound that may occur after the install. Mine were pretty loud but I didn't mind it one bit. I paid around 190 for the gears at Summit (was a while ago) and about 250 for the install, which included new bearings and fluids etc. It was the best mod i did, totally woke the car up going from 2.73's to 3.73's, felt like the car picked up 50 horsepower.

Are you planning on using it for a DD? Might wanna go with 3.50s, makes it a lot nicer when going down the freeway at 70+mph
