Default homemade CAI for

Hi all, i made my own CAI from a piece of pipe from Lowes and a K&N universal 3 inch filter. THe pipe is found in the electrical ailse with the conduit. it is a 3 inch long elbow. it cost about 10 bucks. It fits perfectly over the radiator and puts the filter in the hole next to the fender. My car is a 1993 and has no maf, but with a little trimmnig, it does fit 1994-1997 cars as well as 6 cyl.

Is that grey pvc? I am looking to do exactly this, but wasn't sure if it would fit.

yes it is grey PVC, i just painted it black. AS for HP gains i am not sure, i did a lot of bolt ons between dyno sessions. Bone Stock my car pulled 266 rwhp after mods (not the LT's and exhaust) i pulled 305 RWHP, so somewhere in there the CAI helped.
