Default keeping opti sprak dry

i no your not suppose to get the optiu spark wet and im wanting to power wash my engine bay and engine on the trans am and im just wanting to no the best way to keeping it dry? thanks in advance

I would either do one of 2 things

1) buy the vented opti spark and just wrap it up in a plastic grogery bag when washing the engine.

2) Get the coil pack conversion for the LT1 and never worry about the opti-crap ever again.

you can get them from places like Jegs or Summit racing, mainly any place that has LT1 stuff will supply those. Cost is ???? Call them, they are most likey on sale being that x-mas is around the corner.

can anyone post a pic of where the optispark is at? my car cuts out sometimes and ive read the optispark can do this

You NEVER powerwash an LT1 engine bay. Just clean it section by section by hand.

Also, on top of not powerwashing, don't get the undercarriage spray in drive in carwashes, you'll probably die on the way in if you get them.

Yeah, also the undercarriage was always busts out the turn signal bulbs on my car.
