Default need input, lt1 owners

my friend has a 95 z28 and i was thinking of getting her a CAI kit for her for christmas. since im not firmiliar as much with the lt1, i was wondering what brand or what everone thinks is the best. and where is the best place to get it. ive searched ebay and seen alot of decently priced ones, but they seem kinda, too cheap. i wont have alot of extra $$, so somewhere around $100 or less, hopefully, would work the best for me.

anyone? thanks in advance all.

be VERY cautious when getting a CAI kit on ebay.

I dished out $230 for my K&N FIPK CAI, but thats with intake and K&N filter... but as he said, be careful what you buy on ebay, the difference between my K&N and one you may get on ebay wont be that big horsepower wise. It will just look cheaper.

like stated above, you go ebay(evilbay) you WILL get ripped off. This place usually has good prices, but it is above your budget, but you have to think about one thing.....are you going to be getting some poon from this girl?? If so, then spend the extra cash and knock that shit out.

I you honestly wanna go the cheapass route go to your local parts store and if they have a build your own kit, go for it. Something you build yourself from a parts bin is no worse than the crap some people sell on ebay.

Just get a AEM dryflow filter either way. They are so much nicer than oiled filters. Just wash it out, let it dry, and slap it back in.
