EVERYONE has had opti problems that has/had one on their car. I've yet to meet someone who hasn't, but there might be someone out there.

When i bought my wife's car,the opti was already shot. One of the reasons i got the car so cheap. The car still wont start when there is a lot of moisture in the air.Gonna step up to the msd one this year.

yea, i was just wondering because i had heard stories of people never having problems with the factory unit. i have installed a cheap aftermarket one which did not last very long, then decided to go for the the DYNASPARK model because of their claim to be the last distributor you would ever have to buy, so far so good, i will say the car has never ran so good.

the best optispark out there right now is the MSD unit. it also has retard capabilities. A stock replacement is fine to

other choices would be the coil conversion like Delteq and LTCC but they area pricey. Come to think about it they arent a whole lot more than the MSD unit

after hearing more about the delteq conversion, you still need to use the part in the opti that goes bad all the time.So i don't think i will spend my money on it.
