Default "Transmission perform button" WHAT DOES IT DO??

my car has this button, but when i press it the little light doesnt come on or anything, so how can i know if its on or off? and what does it actually do anyway?

I'm not positive on exactly what it does, but I think if your not on WOT it will hold your RPMs longer and increases the line pressure for harder shifts.
I'm not positive that is what it does, but that is my guess.

ok, i dont even think it works anyways tho, cuz i think the little light is supposed to come on when i press it but it dont

Bulb could be out on the switch. What the TP button does (unless I'm mistaken) is it makes your tranny shift at higher RPMS and you should feel it shift harder. Next time you get in your car do a test- run the car and feel how it shifts, hit the switch and whichever one feels harder is when the switch is on. Could also be that someone did work on the tranny and didn't reconnect something.

ya thats what i was thinkin of doin, unfortunately weve got snow covered roads but im gonna give that a try when it melts off. and thanks for the sig compliment. go with christlol
