Your vehicle speed sensor should be at the back of your tranny output shaft. This known pulse value (different values on auto and manual cars) is used with the known gear ratio and tire diameter to give you the speed.
As far as the article posted ... for ABS, fbodies have sensors mounted on the fronts wheels and either the pumpkin (3 channel) or both wheels (4 channel). For engine speed LS1's use the crank trigger and LT1's use the Opti. So we actually have 3 independent systems working seperately/with each other pissing us off !!! |
