i want to remove and paint my upper intake how much trouble is it to take off and what do i need tool wise to take it off

Its cake.

7mm wrench
8mm wrench
13mm wrench and ratchet
10mm wrench and ratchet

You'll have to take off the coil pack, fuel rail, air intake, and the throttle body.

After that, its just a few bolts and you'll have it off no problem. Would take me all of about 15 minutes.
