I used the search and didn't see anything related to swapping a standard 3800 V6 for a 3800SC. Is it possible? What all would need to be swapped out? Would this be better than modding the H@LL outta the standard 3800?
Just curious... All thoughts and ideas are welcome

Is it possible? Yes, so far one person has done it but it takes a TON of modification. You'd honestly be better to swap in a LS1 or LT1.

Exactly.
The difference between the 3800II and the 3800SC is huge. First, the 3800SC is made for cars using FWD. Also, the motor is turned in the engine bay compared to the 3800II, and everything is completely different. If you're going to spend the time to do a swap that difficult, drop in an LS. |
