Question Clutch is acting funny.

Hey guys. This is my first 5 speed (that i've personally owned) and i don't know too much about clutches... etc.

This is what it is doing. It works fine, most of the time. But, once in a while when i push it in, and when i let it go, it goes right into the gear, instead of letting it go more before it actually catches...

Try this, if that didn't make sense... lol

Normally when i push it in, It goes almost to the floor, and when i release it, it comes back towards me about half way, before it catches completely.

What it does Intermittently..... is When i push it in... and go to release it, it Immediately goes into gear, instead of having that little extra...

If i am not describing it right, i'm sorry... Don't know of another way to put it...

Also, the car has 78k miles now...

And it only does this... maybe twice a day... Maybe...

Any help on clutches would really help Thanks guys

Sounds like a clutch master cyl issue.

I'm going to check out the manual to see what i can do to check it.. I'm guessing (since i dont know too much about clutches) that i would have to change it... But, i'm going to look at the manual tomorrow, and see what it says. It only just started doing this, and it starting to make me think i got a lemon... Oh well, once its fixed, it will be fixed
