Default Engine Swap!

A member of my car club ripped out his 3.4L out of his '95 Camaro to put in an LT1. The 3.4 ran great and he has all of the parts (computer, radiator, complete engine). I can get that engine from him for free and also the 4L60E tranny for less than $100. Right now I have a 3.1L and am most likely going to swap it out for this 3.4. I know that most people are going to tell me that it's not worth it but I have extremely limited funds and the engine is free. Also I've been told that when I get the money, I could buy a turbo for it. I really want to do this engine swap and I even have the help of some very intelligent people.

What I was wondering is what would need to be changed? (computer, drive shaft length, motor mounts, etc...). The people helping me are reserching this but I thought I'd ask you guys for your expert advice.

I have a 3.4 right now, and I like the car, but hate the motor. Don't get me wrong, it hasn't done anything bad to me and has been pretty solid. However I am not sure how well the 3.4 handles a Turbo if you are really thinking about that, and it only has like 160 horsepower stock.

Unless there is a DRASTIC difference between the mileage on your 3.1 and the 3.4, I'd say don't do it. You wouldn't get much of a HP gain considering how much work and all the other parts you'd need. Just save up some funds for a little bit and keep your ears and eyes open for a good deal.
