Default Exhaust System

Looking on summit at I-pipes...they say that pre 97 are different from 98+ even for the I-pipe...is this true? or is it again part of the hanging system? or are the pipes different bends?

also will a 3rd gen I and OA pipe work?

also have a Borla catback offered for $190...are they good exhaust systems?

Borla are amazing exhaust systems.

For the money, if I was to get another exhaust system, i'd get the TSP rumbler. The ones ive heard sound pretty damn good, and are pretty cheap. You can get them on www.texas-speed.com

While your in there, i'd definately recommend swapping out your cat too though. Get a "Carsound", the exhaust tone difference is amazing.

I was lucky and havnt thrown a code, some do, and need to use 02 simulators though.

hell i took my cat completley off and never threw a code, but PCM's are different from car to car. I have a Magnaflow cat back. I paid about 500 for mine, but it has a nice deep tone to it. It sounds real good at idle with that cam in it to.
