Clear Image Automotive also makes headers but they're kind pricey. $300 for noncoated with them, $150 to ceramic coat them, and their y-pipe is another $150, but I've heard good things about them. You can get noncoated pacesetters for $220, or get coated pacesetters for $350, and both prices on that include the y-pipe.

Clear Image Automotive :: The Clear Choice For Performance! - clear image
RKSport also makes headers but for 98-02 fbodies we gotta change the location of the O2 bung and modify the downpipe flange.

Ok sounds good thanks for the help guys, I'm liking the pacesetters my self as well. So will that hook up with with a tsp rumbler and magnaflow high flow CAT (3" good???) or are there some better/cheaper CATs out there.
What are you guys running for headers/CAT/cat-back? Just want to hear what complete setups you guys got.
Also for induction are there any CAI i should stay away from?? I'm really lookin just to bolt up to stock location. Unless putting one in a fenderwell or underneath radiator is better? Also a new lid?? I've seen alot of stuff exhaust and induction, I'm just lookin to get the best all around setup and stay away from products that aren't as good.
Thanks,
Sam

Well as far as 3" diameter vs 2.5" piping here's the debate: if you're planning on keeping the engine N/A and just doing the basic mods, nothing too extensive, then 2.5" is fine. With a 3" exhaust you will get a little more power, but find that the torque curve has moved up higher on the power band. If you plan on doing forced induction then go with a 3" exhaust. Give this a read to decide which one you want (warning: this is a long thread so make sure to read the first 5 or 6 pages or however many it take to help you make up your mind) CatBack/ Exhaust size. - FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com Message Board
I just bought some pacesetter headers, however I'm waiting until I get my cat and catback before I install any of it. Personally I chose to go with Magnaflow for the cat and catback. Now, with pacesetters many people report problems with the paper gaskets and the lengths of the bolts that they come with. A lot of people reccomend using stage 8 locking bolts which can be found here: Grand Valley Vehicle Specialties (Powered by CubeCart) Abbott Racing makes better gaskets, give them a call or email Abbott Racing Heads
With CAI there's not really any bad systems that I've heard about. Since you have a 2000 that means there are no fender applications. K&N, Fast Toys, Whisper, and SLP all make good systems. If you go with K&N then that will be an open filter system, and from what I've been told is good for if you're going to be going to the track and need the top end power more. Their system is called the FIPK II (Fuel Injection Performance Kit). Fast Toys', Whisper's, and SLP's systems are all the kind that pull the air from under the radiator, only potential problem with these is if you happen to go through a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) puddle of water, in which case some water maye get into your engine. With the radiator systems you'll also want to upgrade your air lid, Whisper is what I'm running and I teamed that up with a high performance K&N drop in filter. Essentially your options are the K&N FIPK II or the trio of K&N filter, Lid, and one of the other CAIs. Price wise the two choices are about even. EDIT: Here's a link to the systems Full Throttle Performance, LLC - Your Corvette, Camaro and Firebird Marketplace just go to the induction section and you'll see the products.
I'm still a noob when it comes to modding these, so Phate if there's anything I forgot to mention or anything I may have slipped up on let me know.

Phil covered most of the major points I would want to say, so i'll keep mine brief.
Most everyone would agree, the best aftermarket cat around is the "carsound". As per headers, its your personal choice. I love my pacesetters, never had a bit of trouble from them.
As per piping, I went with 3" because I knew i'd be running nitrous. Due to backpressure it changes your powerband slightly, making it in the higher rpms. The smaller the pipe, and you'll have it in lower rpms.
CAI is personal preference. I went with K&N FIPK (fender version).

No problem man, thats what we're all here for. Great thing about this place is that anyone can ask any question and not get belittled for asking it. When I first got on here I knew nothing about fuel injected engines.

HAHA yea, I don't know why I'm getting so confused on somethings, pontiac just seems different to me. I grew up around mopar. Last year I installed CAI and magnaflow cat-back on my parents dakota.
I wanted mopar, but was always a fan of pontiac and the deal i got for my car i couldn't pass up. I opened the hood and did some research and i was getting thrown off a little and thats when I joined the site. I guess because theres so many more products on the market for these cars then a dodge dakota that I'm getting overwhelmed haha.
O well we'll see how everything unfolds over the next couple months.

Alright, I'm bout to pull the trigger on tsp rumbler, but i've seen allot of videos with it on v8's, but no v6s. Is it going to sound like complete rice over 2000rpms?
