I just bought my car and when i turn the key it will crank for a while and then start or sometimes it will start normally as soon as i turn the key. It just sounds really bad when it cranks, I was wondering what the problem was, im thinking maybe the spark plugs? or starter? Im not sure though so i need some advice.

Start by checking the simple stuff, make sure your wires are good and nothing is disconnected. From there get the battery tested, could very well be a dead cell in the battery.
