Yep...if I could use those engines, that would be one route to go...you can't even use the superchargers of them either...

Correct. If you could, there would be alot of little v6 camaros that act like Grand Nationals around

dude , are you kidding ,if you are going to go through all this work and spend a ton of money you might as well put a lt1 in that bitch. Its not a hack job or anything, get a k-member from sphon $425,pcm and harness from pcm4less $???, plus motor and rack, difinetly less than eight grand and about the same hp your looking for...and you can probably pick up a cheap 6 speed to go with it for less than 8.

lt1 383 can be built pretty nasty, modding is cheaper, that's what would of came in that year, my personal preference, what I know... If you go that wrought I'll sell you my stock k-member for $50 , and it's for a lt1

yea...I really want to go through w/ the V6 build...money will be a big factor, I can sell my car and use the $8,000 to get a much newer LS1 car (If I go V8, I'll go LS1, no offense)
