Default window problems

I've been having problems with my electric window on the drivers side. I had the door apart and looked at the switchs. Motor and wiring looks fine, so I went under dash. I was hearing clicking from an area tucked up pretty well. The window goes down like 3 inches then stops, then I wait 20 min and it will go down a little more, same for going up. SO i heard clicking and buzzing from this box way up in the dash. It didnt look fried or anything, but that must be the problem.

I looked into the box its called Express module or auto down relay, 5 wire plug. I called dealer and with a 20% discount from a friend its still 82 bucks. So i was wondering if anyone has any experience with these and if parts from a bonneville or grand prix would be interchangable, because theres really no firebirds in junk yards around here. Any help would be appreciated

thanks sam

Well with most new window motors they come with a lifetime warranty, so atleast if you do have to replace it you got that going. The express module is what makes the driver's side window go down after only holding it for 2 seconds.

Yea, the reason i though it was the module is because it was making weird noises, but it made those noises because the motor was shot. Tested it today with a battery...not having your drivers side window go down is thee worst thing EVER

Fbody window motors are pretty much guarenteed to go out on you a few times while you have the car unfortunately. And I hate putting them in, with a passion.
