Default Wtf?

Just tried to start my car, battery comes on but then I tried to start the engine. It's not turning over at all, or even trying for that matter. I got a rebuilt starter put on about a month ago, I'm thinking they gave me a crappy one, or I got a bad connection somewhere. Unfortunately it just started raining so the only thing I can do is brainstorm. Any ideas what may be causing it not to turn over?

I would check the basics first.

Be sure the battery terminals are tight and not corroded
Could be a possible bad cell in the battery
Check the wires to the starter for any loose
Could be a possible bad solenoid
Could be a bad starter
Ignition switch may have gone bad.

Just a few thoughts!!

Just because the battery is on and lighting up simple things, doesn't mean it has enough juice to start to turn the engine.

Go to an autozone or something liek that and get your battery tested first so you don't waste money you don't need to. Also have them test the starter, it could be it was a lemon and even after getting rebuilt it just isn't "right".

I just got back from having the battery and starter tested actually. (I guess great minds think alike Rocket ) and both tested good.

And my dad just cut me a good deal. He's gonna have the Bird towed to the dealership, get them to fix the issue, and let me pay him back by $100 a week. He looked at it and is 100% sure it's a bad ignition switch. Plus the mechanic who is gonna work on it has been my dad's best friend for the last 20+ years, so atleast I know I wont get screwed over by the dealership.
