Open the doors and look along the underside of them, then look under the back of the car between the rear bumper and the exhaust. If you don't see any rust in either of these two areas, then it's probably clean and you can inspect it further. Suspension and drivetrain are unimportant since this will all be replaced eventually.
1st mod for ANY F-body that will be raced is subframe connectors. Spohn and UMI both make decent ones!

It will not be driven on the street. It will get to and from the track on a trailer. We already have 5 cars so we dont need another one that can be driven. We have a two car trailer to take the cars to the tracks. Most of our races are at least 500 miles from home so it would be quite expensive to build a fast car that could make it to the races on its own. She loves fast cars but prefers to drive her suburban on a daily basis. I drive either a Ford Ranger, Honda accord, or my Hayabusa to and from work. I dont mind driving these as I have my nice cars in the garage. Of course the Busa is a different animal all together. I drive it on the weekends when there are fewer cars on the street.

As far as the WS6 goes she just has a weird fixation for them. She just wants one. She doesnt care that there really isnt much to them(compared to a base model), she just says they do something for her. How much would it cost to make say a 98 base trans am into a WS6 look alike? I havent had a Trans Am since my brother totaled my 95 right after the trans upgrade and the $2500 I spent on the rear end and suspension. Of course insurance didnt cover these upgrades.

You can always buy an aftermaarket hood and make it look like the WS6.

YEah, the front bumper and rear spoiler are the same as the base model. All you'd need to do is buy the WS6 badges and the hood. Pricing on the hood depends on if you want it made of carbon fiber or not. Can't swing a dead cat on the internet without hitting a WS6 hood.
