Default Found this 87 Formula cheap

Found this 87 Formula Firebird for sale for $500. It does not have an engine or trans, but comes with a partial engine and some parts. I wouldnt use the base engine anyway. I wont know what all parts unless I look at it. I have more pics but these are the worst pics of the bunch. The other side is perfect. I found the drivers side front fender for under $200 shipped from year one. I dont know if the door will need to be replaced or not. What do you think. Should I go look at it?

Body looks fairly good minus the fender/door issue. If its near you then go take a look and check for rust spots, take a peak at the frame, and get as much of the history from the owner that he knows.

Body doesnt look to bad. If its close it definently wouldnt hurt to check it out. If the undercarriage looks good, rear wheel wells look good ( kinda looks like some minor rust in the driver side in that one pic) and check out the interior.

I deleted the other thread since this one had the replys!!

Can't tell if its just dirt or rust, but take a look at the front axle.

Thanks,It is pretty close maybe half an hour or so. The reason I prefer to start with something like this is because all repairs//upgrades for racing a Beat The Heat vehicle are tax deductible. The only thing not tax deductible is the cost of the actual car, and the cost of your trailer. Hayabusa

Nice. My dad owns a business so when we were fixing my truck after the wreck we said it was a work truck and deducted everything
