lol nope...i saw it but didnt no where to plug it in...? if its the green wire with a metal tip...thats the one found disconnected....

Fan switch should be on th passenger side head between the #6 and 8 cylinders. Might have to get under the car and see if you can find the switch!. It will be back up under the exhaust manifold.

I have the exact same car, 92 Firebird with the 305. I had the exact same problem and it drove me nuts for years. As noted above the problem is that the fan temperature switch is either failing or it is disconnected. It screws into the passenger side head. I had to buy a low profile one from Jegs for about $40. The exhaust headers melted the stock sensor in short order.
