Cool need help

Have a 82 Z-28 that had a manual transmission in it but was removed for a 400 auto by prior owner and all the wiring under the dash was pulled apart. got most of the wiring back together but the brake switch was removed and now I need to know how to restore it and where to mount it. If anyone can help or send pics on where it mounts that would be great.

Okay the only one I have ever seen was in my 89 Firebird so hopefully yours wil be similar. Get under the dash and follow the brake pedal up to where it bolts to the bracket. Now on the front part of the bracket toward the bottom you should see 2 holes side by side each with a small notch in them. The swich goes into the left one. There should be a clip that goes in there also.

I'd imagine that it would be similar to my later GenIII cars. If the weather is decent when I get home today I'll shoot some pictures under the dash of my wife's Formula for you.
