I can never remember which Optima battery is the one for the cars. They're good batteries though. As for the shifter boot, I'm not sure if they sell just those or not. You have some options though: custom boot, OEM boot, etc. You should be able to find boots in some or the retso mags, eBay, or local speed shops.

Well guys bad news. I think Project Revival is stalled. The battery is roasted, and I've learned that the problem might be the timing so the whole deal is stalled until it gets warmer out.

that sucks! well now you can take some time and save a little money. and as far as optima batteries go i bought the yellow top and it only lasted for about a year and a half, there only pro rated for 2 years so don't waste your money go with a diehard or maybe ac delco they are pro rated for 7 years
