ok so here the story i got a 86 camaro v6 it sat fer a year and a half , and it needed a tuneup so i changed pugs wires cap and rotor , and im gunna change the fuel filter tomorrow,bassically the car has no balls at all i gun it totally and i dont even get a cherp, i mean i gun it and i dont get up too 30 fer like a minute, is there any suggestions wat it could be ?

Not to be stupid, but you did add new gas, as well as some stabilizer right?

Does it feel wierd at all other than just being slow? Is it jerky, anything like that.

its runs likes its brand new at idle then when u gun it its like crap, somebody told me to gut my converter that it might be cloged that it is a common problem,and it feels like it might be the problem i'll keeps yous updated after i do that how it is

speedped79 figured it out wire 2 and 4 were mixed up on the plugs

Feels nice when it's an easy fix ahh.


One thing I do is label everything with tape, when you take the old ones off the dist., then match them to the new plugs when need be and label them as well. Seems a bit annoying, but it makes things much easier

One thing I can say, is that a 2.8 in the Third Gens is SLOW. I drove an 86 with a 2.8 and I seriously think my moms Cavalier could beat it. They look nice, but really lack any power.
