Tranny Issues.
Hello everyone I just bought an 86 Iroc-z and am having some trans issues. I can barley get the car to engage in first or fifth gears all other work fine. I can get it to engage if i put loads of pressure behind the shifter and let out the clutch just right. also will occasionally grind while shifting into reverse. I am thinking either a messed up shifter or bent shift fork. any other opinions and what is the ease of repair on this particular vehicle. this is my first Camaro.

Welcome to FBO!! I would check the shift linkage first. See if anything is loose, damaged or out of adjustment.
