Default aluminum driveshaft

does the ls1 come equipped with an aluminum drive shaft from factory? cause i see quite afew people selling them and 99 percent of the time they are used

I believe most were.
Certain geared A4's had steel driveshafts if I recall correctly.

I know my stocker (sitting on the garage floor) is an aluminum piece. M6 car. 1999.
