So, I'm new here. Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I searched for it and couldn't find anything. I am looking to take an LS6 that has a head/cam package and runs at 405 rwhp and put it into a 2000 Z28. I was just wondering how difficult it would be (I have never done anything like this before). Also, if you have any tips on how to go about this, I would appreciate it. I have been told that it wouldn't be worth it and I could make a lot of power just with mods to the LS1 that's already in it, so if you think that's the way to go, let me know that too. Thanks.

What are the mods you have, what is the price of the stuff on the LS-6?

And are you sure your going to be content with 405whp?

Also, would you rather have a engine that's got insane top end, or do you want something with enough grunt down low to untorque the lugs?

There are no mods to the LS1, the mods on the LS6 were $5300, and I'm not sure that I'd be content with only 405 rwhp. What exactly does top end vs. the grunt down low that you're talking about mean?
