It's an automatic, so yeah, I know I'm not going to break any speed records. That's not important to me, i just want a car that sounds hard as f*ck at the mcdonald's drive through.

Auto's actually can go faster than manuals if you compare both with high-price setups.

You might want to get some gears, since its an auto, that will give you a serious kick in the pants.
3.73 or GM motive 3.90 gears
LT pacesetter coated headers
SLP loudmouth or texas speed "rumbler" catback
Air lid ( they are all about the same )
Underdrive pulley ( powerbond 25% underdrive )
and finally a tune........you wont be at your 350 rwhp goal since it is an auto, but I can see you getting 335-340 rwhp out of that.

All personal opinion, but I say skip the loudmouth if you are getting headers. The rasp is UNREAL and it doesn't sound like a V8.
Just take a listen...you can hear why I got rid of mine.

I like Magnaflow...that would be my first choice. Then the TSP Rumbler or Hooker. Corsa sounds nice, but damn is it expensive. Not a huge fan of the Borla catback myself.

^ there is virtually no difference between the TSP rumbler and the SLP LM1, so how can you pick one over the other when they are the same?

TSP is a good company.
SLP is a crappy company.
And while the designs are similiar...the Rumbler doesn't sound like complete crap with longtubes.

If you get headers your FIL will deff earn his steak
Corsa's catback is a very nice sounding touring exhaust. Very mild with a nice growl.
I actually like the sound the LM1s make, in a way, I like a Raspy exhaust on some cars with the right setup, though a small resonator or bullet muffler usually makes it sound so much nicer. The LM2 is the one with the bulleted muffler right?

Hey guys,
I have yet another question, I'm looking for one final mod for under a 1k. What do you guys think about the SSI-Series intake manifold for $479.99?
Current list...
Magnaflow
cold air lid
Possible addition...
intake manifold
