Default slow turn signal

Why would the turn signal be flashing slow? It works, just slowly. Anything I can do to speed it up? Replace the relay?

Bulbs work fine. However, i think something is wrong with the passenger side front marker light. The running light doesn't work and the right turn signal doesn't flash, just a steady ON light. However, when I lock it up using the alarm system, the bulb IN the turn signal flashes, clearly indicating the bulb itself IS working. Could this be the socket having an issue?

The running light not being on definitely is the problem with the slow signal. Why it isn't on, idk. Take it apart and check the wiring and see if anythings noticeable. Hopefully someone else on here can help you out with maybe fuses and wiring, im not positveon any of that stuff.

Will the running light come on when you turn you parking lights or headlights on?

Im thinking its more a fuse then a faulty wire, but a bad ground wire might be a problem as well.

Yes, the parking light is on when the headlights are on or I just have it set to the parking light only setting. It appears the only thing that doesn't work coming out of that same light assembly is running light and turn signal mode... normaly parking light works and it flashes when the security is activated.

I had the same problem with mine, it is the bulb. Changed both of them at the same time and every thing is good.

You changed the bulb bc your running light was out and it fixed the running light AND sped up the turn signal?

Not the bulb. Well, it could be. Not creating the lazy flash though.

It is the flasher. They go lazy, then die.
$10 fix. Local auto parts place should have one. It is under the dash on the driver side, near the radio.

Alright, so I should change out the flasher and it should speed it up?

Yup.

Flashers come in different speeds, so just ask for the replacement one at 'normal' speeds.
Might not hurt to drop 'normal GM speed' to the parts guy.
