Default Weight and Distribution

Would anyone know (or know where I can find) the weight and weight distribution specs on a stock '99 Trans Am 6spd?

These are rough numbers...

But if I recall, it was roughly 3450 pounds total (depending on options of course) and distribution was 56/44 or something like that.

I will see if I can find it.....
I just read 58/42. It was a post on a forum though, so not sure how accurate it is.
Double checked...seems accurate from what I can tell.

Default Pontiac said 50/50 on T/A LSI Cars!

According to the Pontiac Sales publication in 2000 the Trans-AM was
approx. 50/50. My car weights with me @185 was 3678lbs. 1/4 tank of fuel. Fuel @8 lbs per Gallon, 40lbs + 185 = 225 from 3678 = 3453 Dry.

For Balance Changes always have driver in position for comparison.
Driver weight will add more to rear left on front to back weight comparison.

That last statement is incorrect. GM when creating the late model Fbodies made the suspension and frame work based around the car only having a driver and no passengers. Hence why if you look very closely to an fbody when there is noone in it, it will be slightly higher on the drivers side. They did this knowing that most of the time these cars are driven solo and wanted the best weight ratio for performance.

Learn something new everyday. Just looked at my car and that rings true.
