Ok this is the last thing that is keeping me from starting my motor and driving the car. I just want to get this thing done at this point.

I tried installing it and the exhaust hits it and also the trans mount is not long enough to go over the tube and on to the plate. I have the plate facing towards the back of the car. Is there a different size trans mount that I need or something that is longer? Or am I just totally missing something?

There are different crossmembers for the different 1st Gen Birds, sure you have the right one? Also, the exhaust on the 1st Gens are a pita. I have pics if you want them.
