It should fit,I seen a 454 BB in a 73 Camaro with a cowl hood. It was driver, so I'm pretty shure it would. And x2 revhead the 68 and 69's could come wuth a 427 stock.

Speakin of 454 3rd gens... I came across one tonight on the local craigslist. I cant decide whether I like it or not thought. I think the BIG scoop is a little overkill myself. 1983 Camaro Z28 454
