Honestly?

Dont.

I have a v6, and built it up, but its a 3.8. The 3.4 has hardly any aftermarket applications and even the ones that do exist give very scarce gains.

V6 FAQ

Theres a sticky I made for people new to modding a v6 maro. To get any noticable gain, you're going to have to dump thousands into it. The best advice I can give you if you want to feel a little more 'umph' in the pedal, is re-gear it, and throw a CAI and exhaust on it.

Yeah, the 3.4s are reliable engines to get your from point A to point B in style, but just can't put out a whole lot of power even with lots of mods done.

I had the 3.4 in my grand am. I put a complete MSD ignition system with the coil packs, and it seemed to be a little stronger on the get go.. other than that, i wasn't able to find anything really.
