Question driver's side headlight ws6

my driver side headlight once in a while will get stuck either in the open or closed position i heard there are problems with the motors should i just change it ?if yes how hard is it to change the headlight motor?

The headlight motors burning out is ridiculously common. But another common problem with them is stripping the plastic gears, so check for that when you replace the motor. I've only done a couple of them for some of my car club members, but I dont remember them being too bad to replace.

Because of the frequency of them burning out, or the cost of the motor, many of my friends with headlight motor problems just keep a small electric screwdriver in their car and just zip them open manually every time they drive them at night.

when you do replace the gear...go with the brass version... it'll save you some pain and headache further down the line. They are 20 bucks I think.
