that's a very nice setup. what's the asking price on that from FBC? i'm doing alot of research on headers and exhaust systems and kooks is really good performance wise. Magnaflows has a good performance rating compared to other systems.

2000 1 3/4"x3"-(Pair)Stainless-Air Fittings & EGR w/Venturi Collectors $920.60
3" Y Pipe w/Metallic Magnaflow Cats $629.96

These are the best advertised prices (10% off retail) we can show based on Kooks rules. Because you people are special, I can offer an additional discount of 5% . This does not include shipping. Of course that's based on you making the purchase in December.

We install alot of Kooks headers and Y pipes, but our senior tech and co-owner of the shop has said that after doing several duals, he doesn't find any advantage to duals from a performance standpoint or from sound.

X-pipe will have a better sound than a y-pipe.
Very hard to get the flow correct with a y-pipe.

Duals will make 15-20 RWHP more than a good y-pipe and catback set-up.
I have seen several cars have that gain. Same dyno for the before and after pulls.

^That would be me you are speaking about!!! I picked up HP, but the TQ was insane. True duel, x pipe and bullet muffles FTW. I will NEVER change back to a catback and y pipe set up, flows like crap.

Just out of curiosity, what was your setup before the duals? Reason I ask is I have not seen alot of gains on most setups going to duals over a y pipe and a $45.00 cutout. I willl say they F Body does sound awesome with a set of duals

I don't have comparison myself. I changed much more than just exhaust when I switched over.
