I am lookin at buying a cheep v-6 f- body, or one without an engine. i plan on gettin an Ls2 block and bore and stroking it. My question is, will a Ls2 fit in the engine compartment of the v-6? if not, how hard are they to mock up? just lookin for some info to save a few headaches. Thanks!

It will fit, but everything will have to be fabricated. I assume you want to get a 95 or older car to do the swap on also? So you dont have to be held back by OBDII inspection standards.
Keep in mind, the tranny nor the rear end will work with that motor. The rear end of an open differential of the type that comes stock on the v6's will not handle the horsepower of an ls2. |

Yup, expect to just have the frame, bodywork and the cabin remain "stock" You'll need either an ECU or the Carb conversion kit (Carbs suck though so why do that?) possible an ignition kit because the LS is COP (Though that conversion sucks too, points are for darts, not fast cars why else do you think mopars use distributors?) After that mounts, a stout transmission. (like a TKO500/600 or T-56 if you want manual. Or a TH400 or 60LE for a manual) custom drive shaft (of course), A built rear end and suspension (Because once you get the proper rear in it to handle the power you'll rip it off the stock mounting locations no doubt) Also plan on beefing up the frame, and for the love of god don't get a T-top or Vert, a hardtop is honestly the only car to do this on without having fitments issues of either the tops or top once you stand on it a few times. This of course is in line with just about everything Phate just said, only in more detail as far as the drive train is concerned. One last thing, go for it.
