Default A good exhaust system

Well to start, i have a 79 firebird with a pontiac 400, its undergoing restoration and i have been searching for a good exhaust system but to no avail. So my question is I need a complete exhaust (minus the headers) that would need minimum cutting. But needs cats and mufflers....got any ideas?

Thank You

your best bet is to ask a local performance shop or local muffler shop to just spec you out one and build it the way you want it. I know near me, that will cost about $350. Good luck.

I run the Flowmaster American Thunder system on my car and love the way it sounds. I agree though, if you can get a custom setup then it'll be worth it.

pypes exhaust systems they sound great, and they are built for your application (bolt on) why do you need cats for that car? i don't run cats on my 80 trans am, don't need emisions to pass inspection just safety
