i have an '01 firebird and the right headlight moves up and down but it makes a grinding noise and it's really loud. now i know firebirds have a problem w/ thier headlights going up/down. i need to now how to fix that. if its just the motor i can do that easily, but it doesnt seem to be the motor cause i can hear it. my brother's firebird does the same thing except his headlight only goes up manually. so if anyone can tell me how to fix it and what to buy it would be very helpful. thanks.

Plastic gear is stripped . You can find at the junk yard and operate or just switch out but make sure get the same side.I does make a differance.

Mine r doing the same thing gonna fix them while its in paint.That noise sucks.......
