I've seen cheap ones go for about $40 and the top-end ones run for over $200. It's just a matter of what you're willing to spend. Make sure you get a detector though and not a radar scrambler. If the cop sees the signal get scrambled he'll probably get suspicious and follow you anyways.

Thanks, I found some at Circuit City and Best Buy. The one I would probably get is made by Cobra. Does any one know anything about this brand?? Is it good/bad??

Cobra has always been good to me. I use their 2 way radios without any problems and my pair of radios are almost 7 years old.
