Default removal of coil packs

ok guys and gals...i am new to the firebird world...and I joined in with both feet this time...I bout a 94 manual v6 and a 95 automatic v6 this past week..the 94 has been sitting for 6 mo..I bought her as a police tow..bad waterpump....I did a gas additive to remove any water to the gas..it ran /Backfired like heckwhen I used starter fluid and then stalled...started up the next am on a cold atart.....now she will only back fire....SOOOO I am thinkin maybe I should try and take the working coilpack from the running 95 and place on the 94..BUT getting the coil pack off is tricky...suggestions please...yes I am a female...no wise cracks guys..I do like tinkering..my hubby thinks I have lost my mind...

Changing coil pack is easy, remove 2 bolts from left side of the bracket, there may be 1 on the right side, bring the unit forward. There are 2 screws holding each coil in place, one on each side remove these and the coil pack lifts strait up.

Do not pull the unit forward to hard, the plug on the back of the ignition module is a pain to get to, so you don't want to unplug it.
