Default Removing rear filler panel

If it possible for me to remove the rear filler panel? Looks like I just gotta take out the tailights and it'll come out, but I thought I'd ask anyways. I got my decals in the mail today and need to get them on before i lose them .

The Center piece in between the taillights, with the stamped in PONTIAC part, you talking about that?

Not sure how easy it is to come off, but I gotta get mine redone soon, since my step-father backed into it while i was visiting

I'm talking about this piece. I believe it's called the filler panel, not sure though. I might just be making up a name. But oh well

Sounds like a good name to me

I'd say if you can't get to it when you open the hatch and remove the uphostery then it must be after you take the tails off.

Sounds like a likely plan of attack. I'll get out there and check tomorrow when I got some daylight.

It should come right out.I know the Camaro piece only has 4 nuts holding it in place along with the tail lights.

unscrew the taillights and remove them and the filler panel will pull right off.

Yep, only problem I ran into when I did this project was one screw behind the spare tire was a PITA to get to. If I remember correctly I had to actually take the spare tire out since I've got damn mallets for hands
